Hillary and Bill Clinton to star in VH1 reality show
Now that Hillary Clinton's presidential aspirations have ended, the senator and former first lady is planning to reconnect with her husband -- on reality TV.
Clinton and her husband Bill, former president of the United States, have signed a deal with VH1 to star in a new reality show called "Mr. and Mrs. (Almost) President." It will follow them as they live together regularly for the first time in over a decade, Hillary's attempts to focus on her job despite Bill's frequent calls and unannounced visits at the office, Bill's nights out drinking with old Arkansas buddies who are always getting him into trouble, and the couple's intimate late night gossip in their hot tub about health care policy and who they'd invite over for a three-some if the press left them alone.
"Bill and Hillary Clinton are the perfect stars for VH1's 'celebreality' brand," announced VH1 president Christina Norman. "They're both well known but are scared of losing their fame, they have famously out-of-control personal lives, they have a lot of debt they need to pay off, and they recently found themselves with ample free time on their hands."
The couple's deal also gives VH1 first look at a "Flavor of Love"-style reality dating show that Bill Clinton is currently developing.
