Uma Thurman stalker sentenced to watch Uma Thurman movies
The jury in the Uma Thurman stalking trail has come back earlier than expected and the news isn't pretty for defendant Jack Jordan, who sent threatening cards and e-mails and called the family of the former Mrs. Ethan Hawke.
Not only did the jury find Jack guilty in just a few hours, but Judge Irwin Handleman then sentenced him to what legal experts say is the harshest sentence yet in New York State for felony stalking: 30 days of watching every film in which Uma has starred, except those directed by Quentin Tarantino.
"Cruel and unusual punishment is supposed to be banned by the Constitution," said Jordan's attorney Randy Craig after the sentence was issued. "Everybody knows that Uma Thurman has never been in a watchable movie that wasn't directed by Quentin Tarantino."
While Jordan's lawyers are appealing, the convicted man's sentence has already begun. According to prison sources, Jordan had to have his hands restrained to keep from clawing out his eyeballs after watching a non-stop marathon of "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen," "The Truth About Cats and Dogs," "Batman and Robin," "The Avengers," and "Gattaca."
Inmates reported hearing a blood curdling scream from Jordan as a masked audio/visual technician cued up "Paycheck."
