Dennis Farina, Hollywood's last mustachioed actor, arrested
In a shocking development for mustache havers and admirers around the world, Hollywood's last working actor with a non-ironic mustache was arrested yesterday, apparently ending his career.
Dennis Farina, who has proudly sported a mustache in films including "Get Shorty," "Out of Sight," and "Reindeer Games" and spent two seasons as the mustachioed Detective Joe Fontana on "Law and Order," was arrested yesterday at Los Angeles International Airport for trying to get through security with a loaded pistol. Most industry watchers believe his career is effectively over.

"This is a tragic loss for our community. Ever since Tom Selleck abandoned us by shaving and then growing that ridiculous beard, Dennis was the only mustachioed star left for boys to admire and emulate," said Bruce Wilson, president of the Mustachioed Men of America. "However I would like to note that we are filing a formal appeal on Mr. Farina's behalf. Men with mustaches are so much tougher and more masculine than the regular population that we believe we should be allowed to carry guns on board airplanes. It's common sense."
